For 20 years, Lin worked in a Menorcan company dedicated to leather garment production, but in 2006, she embarked on the adventure of setting up her own workshop. The inspiration for her creations is based on decorative elements that are very characteristic of Menorca, such as wild olive fences, lighthouses, lizards, and fish, among others. The materials she uses include different types of leather and fabrics.

In 2008, in recognition of the level she had achieved in her craft, she was awarded the “Artesania de Menorca” quality label, granted by the Consell Insular de Menorca, which adds extra value to her products.

All the pieces she makes bear the label «Lin Marquès», her commercial brand.
