Reproduction of a copper engraved map by Antonio Zatta. It is a Menorca antique map dated to 1778.
Zatta was one of the most important map editors of the 18th century. His work constitutes an important point of passage between ancient and modern cartography, more attentive to the precision of geographical details than to the aesthetic embellishment rich in mythological or invention motifs, as was the previous era.
His most important work is the new Atlas published between 1775 and 1789
